Polina Parygina, a fourth-year student at HSE University’s School of Art and Design majoring in Communication Design, is one of four illustrators selected worldwide by the famous clothes brand Fred Perry for the international Record Store Day 2019. In honour of the holiday, music stores around the world are distributing satchels bearing graphic illustrations she has designed.

HSE Team Advances to International Final Round of WTO Competition
Students of the HSE Faculty of Law won the regional round of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition, which is organized by the European Law Students Association with the support of the World Trade Organization. The final round will be held in Geneva in June.
HSE Team Makes It to CFA Institute Research Challenge European Finals
On March 5, 2019, a team from HSE successfully competed in the finals of the regional stage of the 2018-2019 CFA Institute Research Challenge and is now going to Europe for the next round of the completion which will take place in Zurich on April 10. The winners of the European stage will then go on to the Global Finals in New York.

Vera Gribanova, a graduate student in the Master’s Programme 'Governance of Science, Technology and Innovation' runs a radio programme about great scientific achievements called ‘Scientific Light’ on the radio station ‘Moscow Talks’ (Govorit Moskva). This year her radio show has received the prestigious prize ‘For Loyalty to Science’, which is awarded annually by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
Isak Froumin Becomes Consulting Editor for UNESCO International Review of Education
The head of the HSE Institute of Education, Professor Isak Froumin, has joined the journal International Review of Education as a consulting editor. David Atchoarena, the publication’s editor-in-chief and the director of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning, recently informed the Institute of Education that he was extending this offer.
