HSE University Graduate School of Business Takes First Place in the Ranking of Business Schools in Russia
The ranking, compiled by the ‘MBA in Moscow and Russia’ web portal, was based on the assessment of graduates of MBA and Executive MBA programmes. This year, 1,290 graduates from 35 business schools in Russia participated in the survey.
HSE University to Enhance Cooperation with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology
On September 20, a delegation from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) visited HSE University. The Rector of HSE University Nikita Anisimov and the Chairman of the Academy Châu Văn Minh discussed promising avenues for cooperation in the fields of education and science. The heads of HSE departments presented the opportunities the university provides to international students and researchers.
Diversity of Cultures, Values, Traditions: Orientation Session for International Students
At the end of August, HSE University held orientation events for first-year international students. Nearly 800 students from 70 different countries attended sessions at the HSE Cultural Centre to learn about the visa and migration processes for staying in the Russian Federation, the opportunities at HSE and the student life there. They also took a tour of the Pokrovka campus.
HSE Art and Design School and Moscow City Tourism Committee: Global Talents in the Russian Capital
Two major projects have been launched as a result of collaboration between the HSE Art and Design School and the Moscow City Tourism Committee: the International Photo Exhibition for the BRICS Countries ‘Big Cities in Moscow’ and the International Competition of Short Videos about Cities, WOWMOSCOW, which was won by Takha Audyarahma from Indonesia. Her video will premiere on 24 August as part of the Moscow International Film Week programme.

HSE Art and Design School’s End-of-Year Exhibition Takes Place at Winzavod and MMOMA
In mid-July 2024, the HSE Art and Design School celebrated the results of the 2023/24 academic year at two venues in Moscow. The exhibition entitled ‘Collection: The Order of Things’ opened at HSE ART GALLERY at Winzavod and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) on Gogolevsky Boulevard. Over 150 artists whose projects were selected through an internal competition participated in this year's event.
‘Promoting International Dialogue Is the Innermost Motivation That Brought Me Here’
Giovanni Pirari is a Research Fellow at the International Laboratory for the Study of Russian and European Intellectual Dialogue. He is interested in Russian language, history, and poetry, with a particular focus on visual and symbolic representation. HSE University Starts Collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru University in India
HSE University has signed a memorandum of understanding with India's leading university, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. All HSE campuses will participate in the collaboration. Under the memorandum, the two universities will share teaching experience, conduct joint research, and organise short-term academic and cultural exchange programmes.
International Competition of Short Videos about Cities Is Underway
The Moscow City Tourism Committee and HSE Art and Design School invite young directors, animators, cameramen, and other authors working with video to participate in the International Competition of Short Videos about Cities. The contest is organised on the platform of HSE Art and Design School and the Creative City Project of the Institute of Creative Industries in the framework of the ‘Territory of the Future’ Moscow forum and festival.
Entries for ‘Nature and Climate’ Photography Contest Accepted till Late August
The HSE Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Technology has become one of the organisers of the ‘Nature and Climate’ photography contest. The goal of the contest is to celebrate the beauty of nature and its connection with climate, as well as to showcase modern approaches to studying natural ecosystems and their role in climate regulation. The contest is open to all, and the best photographs will be displayed at an exhibition in September, timed to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the faculty.
