Under an agreement between HSE University-St Petersburg and the University of Trento (UniTrento), students of the Master’s programme 'Modern Social Analysis' can participate in a double degree track. A research team from the HSE University Artificial Intelligence Centre led by Ivan Yamshchikov has developed a model to predict the success of efforts to rehabilitate homeless people. The model can predict the effectiveness of the work of organisations for the homeless with about 80% accuracy. The project was presented at a conference dedicated to the activities of social centres.

The HSE Art and Design School in St Petersburg is launching the Summer School of Design, a new urban educational project for those interested in design and visual art. The HSE Campus in St. Petersburg and VK have announced a partnership to implement academic and other projects. The partners will begin by creating the International Bachelor’s in Business and Economics programme at St. Petersburg School of Business. Sergey Mardanov, VK Director of University Relations, will become the Business Director of the new programme.
