The HSE University Art and Design School and the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, in collaboration with the Sergei Parajanov Museum and the Artists' Union of Armenia, have announced an open contest dedicated to the centenary of Sergei Parajanov’s birth. The contest starts on March 7.

University-Wide Open Day to Be Held for Prospective Students
On March 12, HSE University will hold a university-wide Open Day for prospective students of bachelor’s and specialist programmes. The event will be held in the Pokrovka Building and will feature presentations by faculties and campuses, a talk by the Admissions Office, activities from student organisations, a tour of the university’s historical buildings and much more. Those interested in attending must register in advance.
‘When I Learned to Implement My Ideas in a Program, I Understood Why It Was Worth Coming to University’
On February 15–17, the HSE University Faculty of Computer Science will hold a winter software engineering school aimed at sharing and exchanging knowledge about modern tools and methods in software development. Those interested in taking part must register by February 12. Kamchatka: Your Amazing Adventure
The photo exhibition ‘Kamchatka: Your Amazing Adventure’ was officially opened as part of the Days of Kamchatka event held by HSE University in the building on Pokrovsky Boulevard from January 19 to February 10. Visitors will learn about life in the region through photos of the unique landscapes and wildlife sanctuaries of the peninsula, the traditional Beringia dog-sled race, and the main symbols of the Kamchatka Region—brown bears, Pacific salmon, and wild reindeer.
New CPD Programme in Plurilingual Intercultural Creative Keys Launched at HSE University
HSE's School of Psychology is launching a new CPD programme ‘Plurilingual Intercultural Creative Keys’ (PICK). The programme was specially developed by the HSE Laboratory for Linguistic, Intercultural and Creative Competencies and is based on the innovative PICK training system designed to improve the skills of school teachers and tutors, as well as parents involved in teaching their children at home. The programme will be taught in Russian.
HSE Online to Open Six New Full-time Programmes in 2023
More than 1,500 students currently study at HSE Online, including those from across Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, India, China, Germany, and others. Postdoctoral Fellowship Recruitment
HSE University is announcing an open call for Postdoctoral Fellowship positions starting in the 2023/2024 academic year. Candidates must hold a recent PhD degree. Postdoctoral fellowship appointments are made for a one-year period and may be renewed. The deadline for applications is January 31, 2023.
HSE Art and Design School Accepts Projects for Contemporary Art Competition
The first season of the new competition for prospective applicants of HSE Art and Design School has started. The competition aims to unite promising young artists on one platform. The winners will receive tuition discounts of up to 100% for the HSE Bachelor's Programme in Contemporary Art.
‘Defining Yourself: Subject / Process / Identity’: New Exhibition Opens at HSE ART GALLERY
From November 9 to December 4, the HSE ART GALLERY is hosting an exhibition of works by students and lecturers of the HSE Art and Design School. The ‘Defining Yourself: Subject / Process / Identity’ exhibition lays the foundation of a multidisciplinary project about building connections between folk crafts, artistic practices, and modern research. The exhibition also has a parallel programme in the form of a curatorial excursion, an open talk, and an evening of performances.
