Education news at HSE University

In 2018, the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art will expand its range of educational projects and embark on a collaboration with HSE in the field of contemporary art and art practices.

Neeraj Mazumder, a native of India, is a first-year student in the Master’s programme Prototyping Future Cities offered by HSE’s Vysokovsky Graduate School of Urbanism. He received his Bachelor’s in Architecture from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University in Hyderabad and came to Moscow to study how cities can be analyzed and smart cities designed.

The Higher School of Economics has been ranked 162^nd in a new ranking of the world’s most international universities compiled by Times Higher Education.

Zhang Caiyu is a Master’s student at HSE – St. Petersburg. Originally from China, Zhang Caiyu moved to Kiev, Ukraine as a Bachelor’s student, where she majored in the Russian language. Of course, it then made total sense to continue her education here in Russia. She is now a student in HSE’s 'Experience Economy: Hospitality and Tourism Management' programme. Two continuing education programmes at the HSE, ‘Marketing for Professionals’ and ‘Master in Marketing’, have been accredited by the European Marketing Confederation. Now, graduates can take additional exams and receive certificates recognized by European companies, including those operating in Russia.

After graduating from the Socioeconomic and Political Development of Modern Asia master’s programme, Vladimir Kirichenko set off for Indonesia. He is now at the London School of Public Relations in Jakarta, where he studies, teaches, conducts research, and works in an international office. Below he discusses his experience in Indonesia, as well as prospects for the development of Russian and Indonesian ties in the field of education.
