Faculty of Economic Sciences Holds Webinar for Master’s Applicants
The webinar provided details on two master’s programmes: ‘Economics and Economic Policy’ and ‘Strategic Corporate Finance’. Some international students shared their study experiences, and the faculty administration provided information on admissions, student benefits and scholarships. HSE University to Attract More Students from African Countries
The number of HSE students from Africa has exceeded 200 this year. Today, 235 students from 31 African countries study at the university. Last year, 175 students from 29 countries studied at HSE University.
HSE University Launches New Master’s Programme in Chemistry
In 2023, the first Master's programme 'Chemistry of Molecular Systems and Materials' at the HSE Faculty of Chemistry will enrol students. Half of the study time will be devoted to research projects in the field of modern fundamental and applied research on the topics studied at five institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Dmitrii Roitershtein, Academic Supervisor of the programme and Associate Professor at the Joint Department of Organic Chemistry with the RAS Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry, spoke about the programme to the HSE News Service.
Vedomosti Becomes Industrial Partner of the HSE Institute of Media
HSE University and the business daily Vedomosti (Business News Media JSC) have signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the Contemporary Journalism Master's programme. Students from the HSE Institute of Media will complete internships in the editorial office of Vedomosti. They will also study ‘Business Journalism Formats’, a course which will help consolidate their knowledge on the genres and formats of modern economic media.
Research that Will Help Fight Corruption
Emmanuel Adu Sarfo, 23, from Ghana, is a second-year master's student on the HSE Economics and Economic Policy programme. He is carrying out research on the ancient roots of corruption that influence its prevalence in different countries. HSE Master of Data Science Programme Is among Finalists of Digital Learning 2022
The HSE's Master of Data Science programme reached the final of the Digital Learning 2022 Award in the online programmes category, as well as winning the audience award. HSE was the only university to reach the final. Nominees from the world of business competed side by side with the first English-language master's programme in Russia implemented entirely online.
