Japanese Theatre, Dance and Calligraphy at Oriental Crazy Day 2022
Oriental Crazy Day is a traditional festival of the School of Asian Studies, which has been held at HSE University for eight years. This time, Asian Studies students taught guests Chinese calligraphy, Arabic script, Yemeni dancing and origami. They were also introduced to kabuki theatre and traditional Japanese drums.

Alexey Masyutin is Russia’s first research doctorate in computer science, having earned his PhD in Computer Science from HSE University in 2018. He currently heads the HSE AI Centre and oversees the joint master’s programme between HSE University and Sber. Telling Stories Festival to Be Held outside Moscow for the First Time
The Telling Stories Festival of Creative Industries is a non-profit project created in 2018 by HSE Faculty of Communications, Media and Design. This summer, for the first time, the festival won’t be held in Moscow, but, instead, will unite and expand the creative communities in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan. The capital of Tatarstan will host guests on June 11th, with an exhibition, free lectures, and concerts in some of the main venues around the city.
