International prospective students applying for Master's programmes at HSE University can now get a jump start on the admissions process and get a sense of their chances of being accepted to HSE. There is no need to wait till summer or to come to Moscow.
‘HSE University Is the Best Choice’
Emiliano Espinosa is from Rosario, an Argentinian city near the Paraná River—not far from Buenos Aires. He first came to Russia 8 years ago, in 2012, for a high school exchange year—he went to a Russian school in Krasnodar and lived with a Russian family. Now, after completing his Bachelor’s at RUDN Moscow, Emiliano Espinosa is a first-year student of the Master’s programme in ‘Media Management’ at HSE University. We spoke with him about his experience of living and studying in Russia.

At a recent webinar of the Master’s programme ‘Financial Economics’, held at ICEF (International College of Economics and Finance), presenters explained why the programme is unique and what sort of career prospects are open to alumni. Graduates of the programme, working at major global companies, shared their personal experiences, spoke about the key benefits of training and gave valuable advice to those preparing to work in international companies.

Rakib Hassan Pran, from Bangladesh, is currently doing his Master’s in Applied Statistics with Network Analysis at the HSE International Laboratory for Applied Network Research. Before enrolling at HSE, Rakib worked in information security wing of a Bank (Exim Bank BD) in Bangladesh. He got a leave from his job to study at HSE University in Moscow.

From Europe and America to Africa and Australia: International Admissions 2020 Attract Applicants from around the World
Every October, HSE University sums up the results of that year’s international student admissions campaign. This year, due to the pandemic, the University quickly reorganized admissions procedures and began holding all events and consultations remotely. In total, 9,324 students from 156 countries applied to undergraduate and graduate programmes at HSE University. For the 2020/2021 year, HSE welcomed 2,214 students from all over the world to its campuses. This is an 11% increase in international enrollments from last year.
